Custom Rustic Stone Fireplace Incline Village
A complete fireplace renovation in a Lake Tahoe cabin. We stripped the existing surround down to the studs, reframed and then rebuilt from the ground up. This fireplace was finished with local dry stack stone, flagstone hearth and a custom cut wood mantel that ties in all aspects of the Sierras.Â
01 / Before: The Original Space
An outdated fireplace surrounded by grey river rock that no longer matched the home. The homeowner wanted a complete transformation that reflects the rustic character of their Tahoe cabin.Â
02 / During: Craftsmanship in Progress
Full demolition was completed before the firebox was positioned properly and venting routed. Custom ductwork was ran to two bedrooms in the house as well. Framing was completed along with rock backer before stone started to climb the wall.Â
03 / After: The Finished Masterpiece
Floor to ceiling dry stack stone with a flagstone hearth and custom cut mantel are now the highlight of this space. A complete transformation that became the centerpiece of this cabin.Â

Demolition of previous rock, framing and fireplace. Run new gas line. Install new unit with additional two blower units for separate bedrooms. Rock new surround and install custom mantel.
